STEM: very weak to weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration, medium to long internode length
LEAF: semi-drooping attitude, medium to long, broad, bipinnate division of blade
LEAF BLADE (UPPER SIDE): medium green, weak to medium glossiness, weak to medium blistering
LEAFLET: medium size, semi-erect to horizontal attitude of petiolule in relation to main axis of leaf
INFLORESCENCE: mainly multiparous type
PEDUNCLE: abscission layer present, medium to long
FLORET: yellow, pubescence of style present
IMMATURE FRUIT: medium to large extent of dark green shoulder, medium green skin excluding shoulder, no green stripes

Origin & Breeding History: 'Grifone' originated from a controlled cross conducted in the summer of 2014 at the Enza Zaden Research and Development Station in Sicily, Italy. The cross was made between two unnamed proprietary seedlings. In 2015 to 2016, 'Grifone' was trialed in the Netherlands, Canada, Italy, France and Belgium. Selection was based on fruit shape, setting and texture.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Grifone' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3121, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2017.
