Origin & Breeding History: 'Laudrup' originated from a controlled cross conducted in the summer of 2011 at the Enza Zaden Research and Development Station in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. The cross was made between two unnamed proprietary seedlings. In 2015, 'Laudrup' was trialed in the Netherlands and Canada. Selection was based on uniform fruit characteristics, yield, plant type and taste.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Laudrup' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3135, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2017.
