Origin & Breeding History: 'Robagino' originated from a controlled cross conducted in the summer of 2012 at the Enza Zaden Research and Development Station in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. The cross was made between two unnamed proprietary seedlings. Worldwide field trials were conducted with the final selection of 'Robagino' being made on August 29, 2016 based on fruit size, fruit shape, taste, shelf life, resistance to cracking and disease resistance.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Robagino' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3131, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2017.
