Variety used for comparison: 'Seychelle'

Summary: The leaflets of 'Delisher' are small to medium whereas the leaflets of 'Seychelle' are large. The length to diameter ratio of the fruit for 'Deisher' is very large while it is large to very large for 'Seychelle'. At maturity, the fruit colour of 'Delisher' is a lighter red than that of 'Seychelle'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Delisher' (breeder designation DRTC1003) is a cherry plum tomato developed for production in high tech greenhouses. It originated from a cross conducted in 2014 between two Seminis proprietary breeding lines, in Bergschenhoek, Netherlands and was further developed by pedigree breeding selection. The resulting hybrid, 'Delisher', was selected in 2015 on the basis of quality, uniformity, fruit colour and fruit taste.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Delisher' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3103, purchased from Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trials were conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands from 2017 to 2018.
