Variety used for comparison: 'Solarino'

Summary: The leaf of 'Anamaria' has a horizontal to semi-drooping attitude while the leaf of 'Solarino' has a semi-drooping attitude. The fruit of 'Anamaria' is smaller with darker red skin than the fruit of 'Solarino'. In longitudinal section, the fruit shape of 'Anamaria' is elliptic while that of 'Solarino' is obovate. At the blossom end, the fruit shape of 'Anamaria' is flat while that of 'Solarino' is flat to pointed.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Anamaria' (breeder's reference 72-009 RZ) originated from a cross conducted between two proprietary lines in the late summer of 2014 in the Netherlands. The hybrid plum tomato variety was selected in 2017 for its plant characteristics, fruit quality and shape, yield and disease resistance in high tech greenhouse cultivation.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Anamaria' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3418, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2019 and 2020.
