SEEDLING: anthocyanin colouration of hypocotyl present

PLANT: indeterminate growth type, tall, flowers mid to late season, late to very late fruit maturity

STEM: weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration, long internode

LEAF: semi-drooping attitude, medium to long, medium to broad, bipinnate blade type
LEAF BLADE (UPPER SIDE): medium to dark green, weak glossiness, weak blistering
LEAFLET: small to medium sized, horizontal attitude of petiole in relation to main axis of leaf

INFLORESCENCE: mainly uniparous type
PEDUNCLE: no abscission layer
FLOWER: yellow, pubescence of style present

IMMATURE FRUIT: no green shoulder, light to medium green skin, no green stripes
MATURE FRUIT: medium sized, large length to diameter ratio, obovate shape in longitudinal section, very weak to weak ribbing at peduncle end, very weak to weak depression at peduncle end, small to medium peduncle scar, very small to small blossom scar, flat to pointed at blossom end, small to medium diameter of core (in cross-section) in relation to total diameter when viewed from above, medium thickness of pericarp, two and three locules, red skin, medium glossiness of skin, red flesh, firm to very firm

Origin & Breeding History: 'Iseo' (breeder's reference DRTJ4056) originated from a hand-pollinated cross conducted between two proprietary Seminis lines, 'FIS-XM17-4473' and 'FIR-XM17-4474', at the Seminis breeding station located in Bergschenhoek, Netherlands in 2016. The resulting hybrid, 'Iseo', was selected in 2017 for its yield, quality and truss retention.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Iseo' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3800, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2022.
