Origin & Breeding History: 'Leonisher' (breeder's reference DRTC8027) originated from a hand pollinated cross made between two proprietary breeding lines, 'CHI-HE19-8475' and 'CHI-HE19-8016', in 2019 at a Seminis breeding station located in Bergschenhoek, Netherlands. The resulting hybrid variety 'Leonisher' was selected in 2022 for its fruit colour, fruit size, fruit flavour, truss quality, plant vigor, and disease resistance.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Leonisher' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination application number TMT4107 purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2023.
