Summary: The plants and shoots of 'CBRZ0026' are shorter than those of 'CBRZ0006'. The leaves of 'CBRZ0026' are smaller than those of 'CBRZ0006'. The inner side of the corolla lobe of 'CBRZ0026' has a very small yellow orange area at the transition to the corolla tube whereas that of 'CBRZ0006' has a medium sized dark red to medium red area. The marking on the inner side of the corolla lobe of 'CBRZ0026' is red pink and star shaped whereas that of 'CBRZ0006' is yellow and wedged. When fully opened, the inner side of the corolla lobe of 'CBRZ0026' is light orange to pink at the margin whereas that of 'CBRZ0006' is medium orange.

COROLLA LOBE (INNER SIDE): when newly opened light orange (RHS 25D), when fully opened mainly light orange (RHS 26C-D) to pink (RHS 37B) at margin, when aged light orange (RHS 26D) and pink to light red pink (RHS 37C-D), secondary medium purple red (RHS 54A) at margin of corolla lobes, very small rounded to star-shaped area of yellow orange (RHS 13A) at transition to corolla tube, medium sized star-shaped red pink (RHS 47C) marking at transition to corolla tube

Origin & Breeding History: 'CBRZ0026' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder, Mitchell E. Hanes, in Gilroy, California, USA, in March 2014. The cross was made between the female parent, a proprietary seedling designated '3041-1', and the male parent, a proprietary seedling designated '3072-2'. The resultant seed was sown in July 2014 and 'CBRZ0026' was selected in October 2014 based on growth habit, flower colour and flowering time.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'CBRZ0026' was conducted in a polyhouse during the summer of 2021 at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included a total of 20 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 30 cm diameter hanging baskets on April 26, 2021. Each basket contained 4 cuttings with a total of 5 baskets per variety. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or parts of 10 plants, on June 10, 2021. All colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart. Mean differences were significant at the 5% probability level based on paired Student's T-tests.
